Luck Pillars (倧θΏ) are 10-year periods that overlay your birth chart and activate or suppress different elements. They're the most important timing tool in BaZi.
How Luck Pillars Work
Your first Luck Pillar begins at a specific age (calculated from your birth date and gender). Each subsequent pillar shifts by one Heavenly Stem and one Earthly Branch in a fixed sequence.
